Amnesty for Santa Barbara massacre convicts

Military personnel convicted of Santa Barbara massacre are amnestied by Law 26479

In 1995, the six military personnel convicted of the murder of 15 Santa Bárbara community members were granted amnesty under Amnesty Law 26479. This amnesty added to the already existing impunity, as they had been convicted only for abuse of authority and not for homicide, and consolidated the lack of justice for the victims and their families.
