Attack on SAIS Cahuide by PCP-SL
On December 11, 1983, members of the Shining Path (PCP-SL) attacked the production units of SAIS Cahuide. They set fire to the estate house in 'Laive', dynamited a tractor, and seized food and dynamite. The attack extended to 'Antapongo', where they destroyed the accounting office and killed 45 sheep, and continued to 'Río de la Virgen' and 'Tucl' estate.
El 11 de diciembre de 1983, integrantes del PCP-SL asaltaron las Unidades de Producción de la SAIS «Cahuide» en la zona de Junín. En «Laive» incendiaron la casa hacienda y dinamitaron un tractor, llevándose alimentos y gran cantidad de dinamita del polvorín de la SAIS. En «Antapongo» incendiaron la oficina contable y otros ambientes, acuchillando a 45 reproductores de ganado ovino. Los militantes maoístas también se dirigieron a «Río de la Virgen» y atacaron la hacienda «Tucle».
