Location of corpses of missing persons from La Cantuta
Sí magazine located corpses of the disappeared of La Cantuta in Cieneguilla, evidencing the actions of the Colina Group.
On July 12, 1993, the magazine Sí, directed by Ricardo Uceda and with a team of Edmundo Cruz and José Arrieta, located the bodies of nine students and a professor from La Cantuta University in burial sites in Cieneguilla. This journalistic investigation solved the mystery of their disappearance and evidenced the existence of the Colina Group. The investigation was carried out despite threats and thanks to the independence of the media.
