Judge dismisses investigation for abuse of authority in Castillo Paez case for failure to determine participation of defendants
The Judge of the 14th Preliminary Examining Court of Lima, despite admitting that Castillo Paez had been arrested by members of the Police, issued a resolution ordering the dismissal of the investigation with respect to the defendants in relation to the crime of abuse of authority, for not having been able to determine the participation of the defendants. The criminal proceeding in the extreme of Violence and Resistance to Authority was referred to the 40th Preliminary Examining Court.
