Subversive incursion in the community of Ulcumayo that left 15 peasants dead on February 8, 1992.

On February 8, 1992, a subversive incursion in the community of Ulcumayo resulted in the death of 15 peasants. This attack took place in the context of the intensification of violence in the Junín region during the 1989-1992 period, when the PCP-SL was developing its V Plan to "Develop Bases for the Conquest of Power". The massacre occurred at a time of high conflict between the subversive forces and the communities organized in peasant patrols.
