Supreme Council of Military Justice removes those responsible for Bustíos' murder from trial
A year after the investigation was initiated in the military courts, and while the trial in the common courts continued, the Supreme Council of Military Justice decided to confirm a resolution that ordered the removal from the trial of those responsible for the murder of Hugo Bustíos. This decision allowed the military defendants to later file a plea of res judicata in the common courts.
