Attack on the Instituto de Educación Rural Palermo by PCP-SL

En 1981, el Partido Comunista del Perú-Sendero Luminoso (PCP-SL) atacó el Instituto de Educación Rural Palermo, ubicado en Juli, zona aymará del departamento de Puno. Este evento causó sorpresa e incredulidad entre las radios de la región, ya que nadie imaginaba que una organización de izquierda tuviera capacidad de realizar tal acción.
