  2. Assault on the Guardia Civil Post in Huayrapata

    In September 1982, a group of Shining Path militants, including two women, attacked the Guardia Civil post in Huayrapata, La Convención, Cusco. The assault resulted in the death of one civil guard and injury to a corporal. The attackers, numbering around 35, seized weapons and ammunition during the raid.
