Formation of the Revolutionary Student Front (Frente Estudiantil Revolucionario - FER)
In 1961, when the university still had less than four hundred students, the Frente Estudiantil Revolucionario (FER) was formed, promoted by the Youth of the Communist Party, which integrated a group of leftist and independent tendencies. The FER would soon become the hegemonic student organization at the UNSCH.
