Capture of Osman Morote
Osman Morote, a member of the Central Committee of the PCP-SL, was captured in Lima in 1988. His capture occurred shortly before a meeting convened by the national leadership of the organization. Morote was known to have been active in regions like Huamachuco, where he posed as a traveling merchant.
