Military Presence in Ayacucho
In 1983, various military bases were established in the Ayacucho region of Peru, including the Base Militar de Ccoisa and the Base Militar de Cayara. These bases were part of the Peruvian government's efforts to combat insurgent activities during a period of internal conflict.
