Assassination of a Woman by Shining Path in Putaccasa
In 1987, in the locality of Putaccasa, Ayacucho, a woman was brutally murdered by members of the Shining Path (PCP-SL). She was accused of providing food to military personnel in her restaurant. The attackers dragged her out, physically assaulted her, and then shot her in the stomach and head.
