   Detention and Abuse in Lambayeque

   In 1990, a person was detained in Lambayeque by a group of eight armed individuals. The detainee was blindfolded, handcuffed, and taken to the JECOTE in Chiclayo. During the detention, the detainee's family members were subjected to physical abuse and threats.
