   Destruction of the Rural Education Institute in Ayaviri

   The Shining Path destroyed the Rural Education Institute of the Ayaviri Prelature in the Southern Andes. Shortly after, they threatened the prelate of Ayaviri and forced him to dialogue with other authorities. This attack is part of a strategy of intimidation against Church educational institutions working with peasant communities.
