Testimony of Gladis Felicitas Tello Merino

On May 20, 2013, Gladis Felícitas Tello Merino — vice president of the Coordinadora Regional de Organizaciones de Víctimas y Afectados por la Violencia Política de la Región de Apurímac (CROVAVPA) — gave her life testimony about the period of violence that occurred in Peru between 1980 and 2000. Gladis described the process of displacement she undertook to reach Abancay, her flight across bridges to other towns that she considered safe at the time, and the difficulties that continued nonetheless. Information gathered during the production of the documentary "Nada queda sino nuestra ternura," directed by Sébastien Jallade and produced by Documental Peruano (2017).
