Testimony of Cirila Súñiga Quispe
On April 15, 2013, Cirila Súñiga Quispe, a native of Santa Carmen (Ayacucho), fled her village because of the violence, crossing oroyas (cable-car river crossings) with family members and neighbors to reach Apurímac. She reported having been a victim of sexual violence by members of the police, and not knowing the whereabouts of her relatives. Information gathered during the production of the documentary "Nada queda sino nuestra ternura," directed by Sébastien Jallade and produced by Documental Peruano (2017).
