Testimony of Eugenia Altamirano Huamán

On April 15, 2013, Eugenia Altamirano Huamán testified about her experience of displacement resulting from the violence that occurred in Peru from 1980 to 2000. Eugenia lived in Ninabamba (Ayacucho) but fled because of the violence; she recounts how the process of displacement unfolded for her fellow townspeople and herself.
She also emphasizes the process of transporting sick individuals, who were not left behind. Information gathered during the production of the documentary "Nada queda sino nuestra ternura" (Nothing Remains But Our Tenderness), directed by Sébastien Jallade and produced by Documental Peruano (2017).
