In 2013, in Ayacucho, the documentary Achka Illaki kallpanchawaraku (So Much Pain Gave Us Strength and Courage) was made. Through various testimonies, it shows the founding, organization, and importance of the Asociación Nacional de Familiares de Secuestrados, Detenidos y Desaparecido del Perú (ANFASEP). One of the testimonies is from Angélica Mendoza de Ascarza, known as 'Mamá Angélica,' the leader and founder of the association. This documentary is part of the DOCUPERÚ collection.
