Law on the Search for Persons Disappeared During the Period of Violence 1980–2000
Full text of Law 30470, enacted on June 22, 2016. This regulation provides the legal framework currently in force in Peru to prioritize, with a humanitarian approach, the search for persons who disappeared during the period of violence from 1980 to 2000. It also establishes measures relating to the search, recovery, analysis, identification, and restitution of human remains.
