Specialists and Religious Figures: Propose Disseminating the Advantages and Disadvantages of Tubal Ligation
Specialists and religious figures emphasized yesterday the need to launch an information campaign among low-income mothers about the advantages and disadvantages of tubal ligation. The president of the Centro de Promoción de los Valores de la Familia y la Regulación Natural de la Natalidad, Luis Giustui La Rosa, argued that the cases resulting in patient death are due, in most instances, to a lack of asepsis during the surgical procedure.
