What Amnesty International Says: Dictatorships Use It as a Political Weapon
Human rights organizations such as Amnesty International have denounced that behind the family planning policies of certain dictatorships there are, in reality, mass sterilization plans aimed at ending the ethnic resistance of part of the population of their countries. This serious allegation, based on studies conducted by an Australian university, was raised last May by Fernando Sousa, a member of the presidency of the Portuguese chapter of Amnesty International, and by Portuguese analyst Joaquim Trigo de Negreiros.
