Quipu Project: An Interactive Documentary That Connects Victims of Forced Sterilizations
Proyecto Quipu connects victims of forced sterilizations through a web forum. Through a free telephone line, participants from Peru can narrate their testimonies, listen to stories shared by others, and record responses. The London-based team receives the messages via the Internet and is responsible for moderating, transcribing, and translating each one; they then upload the information to a website accessible from anywhere in the world.
