Oronqoy
For five years, SL took over the village of Oronqoy and turned it into a "liberated zone," renaming it Puka Llacta. The entire community was held captive because, like others, it was too "far from Peru." But when the State arrived and the Mollebamba base was established, the injustices did not cease. The sinchis renamed the area "Oreja de Perro." Dozens of women were forced to provide free "services" of cleaning, cooking, and at night, as "comfort women" to the troops and officers. Systematically raped. Turned into sexual slaves by the very security forces they trusted to free them from the terrorists.
