The Red Mole of the World
"El Lunar Rojo del Mundo" (The Red Mole of the World) is the title of a book written by professor Julio César Conde Vilca, born in Chuschi. It recounts testimonies gathered about the events of May 17, 1980, when armed and hooded individuals stormed the building where the ballot boxes and voter rolls for the next day's national elections were kept and burned part of them.
