Justice After the CVR

Ten years have passed since the presentation of the Final Report of the Comisión de la Verdad y Reconciliación (CVR), which requires taking stock of the justice process stemming from its investigations. The first thing we must bear in mind is that it has been a very complex process. After two decades of judicial abdication and cover-ups, justice is now difficult to achieve and all too often uncertain for victims and their families. Hence the difficulty of making an assessment. We will therefore present some relevant aspects of this process to help us understand what has been achieved and what is at risk.
