Nothing in Common
Since the CVR's Final Report came to light, and despite the majority support of the population for the Commission's work, criticism has not stopped pouring in: CONFIEP, former commanding generals of the Armed Forces, the Association of General Officers and Admirals (ADOGEN), and even the ultra-right-wing movement Tradición y Acción felt compelled to disseminate paid advertisements in several newspapers presenting what they consider their version of the truth. Idele managed to get no less than a liberal intellectual like Mario Vargas Llosa to respond to them in this fictitious controversy over the truth about our country.
