MOVADEF: Remnants of a Violent Phenomenon
MOVADEF, founded on November 20, 2009 and now with just over a year of existence, has managed to field several candidacies in the most recent regional and municipal elections. Likewise, in the presidential elections, it combined its best cadres with small groups with limited voting intentions and a more local character. Their mission? It appears to be a very narrow platform confined to securing amnesty for their supreme ideological leader: Abimael Guzmán Reynoso.
