Peru Must Prioritize the Exhumation of 15,000

In an interview with Terra magazine, the Director of the Equipo Peruano de Antropología Forense (EPAF), José Pablo Baraybar, noted that following the initial burial of the victims of the Putis massacre — totaling 123 persons (of whom 92 bodies could be exhumed and 28 bodies reburied) — the State "must prioritize the humanitarian exhumation of 15,000 disappeared persons buried in 4,600 clandestine graves."
