Baraybar: "I Am a Radical of Truth"
A forensic team in Peru finished excavating a few weeks ago four mass graves in an area called Putis, in the province of Ayacucho (in the south of the country), which are linked to one of the bloodiest massacres in the country's history. In the Putis massacre, which occurred on December 13, 1984, approximately 123 people were killed, including several children. In the first grave alone they found the remains of 67 people. José Pablo Baraybar, director of the Equipo Peruano de Antropología Forense (EPAF), led the excavation.
