Four Testimonies Ten Years After the Final Report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission
A decade after the publication of the Final Report of the Comisión de la Verdad y Reconciliación on the internal armed conflict from 1980 to 2000, Amnesty International acknowledges and supports the tireless search for truth and justice by victims and their families, in conversations with Sofía Macher Batanero (former CVR commissioner); Carmen Oyague (family member of Dora Oyague, detained and disappeared at La Cantuta university); Rocío Silva Santisteban (executive secretary of the CNDDHH); and Felimón Salvatierra Garamendi (one of the thousands of children who lost their parents during the political violence).
