Historians and the Final Report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (Peru, 2003–2013)
The publication of the Final Report (IF) of the Comisión de la Verdad y Reconciliación (CVR) in 2003 provoked a rupture across the various scientific and artistic disciplines in the country. Historians were no exception, and the challenges and opportunities opened by the Final Report put us against the wall in our dual condition as professionals of the past and ordinary citizens — an impact that has pursued and stimulated us throughout this last decade.
