Strange Actions by the Prosecutor's Office in the 'El Frontón' Case in Favor of Alán García: Simple Coincidence?
On one hand we have a TC that orders no new criminal proceedings to be opened in this case, and on the other hand we have a Fiscalía that, having previously failed to act against former President García since it did not file charges against him, now charges individuals who, while they may bear some degree of criminal responsibility for the killings of June 1986, could never bear it at the level of indirect perpetrators — that is, as those in command.
