Guzmán Ordered the Murder of Peasants in Soras
The Judiciary is prosecuting Abimael Guzmán and his Senderista central political committee for having ordered in 1984 the violent execution of 104 peasants from the Ayacucho district of Soras who opposed his preaching. Survivors identify Víctor Quispe Palomino as the person directly responsible for the massacre.
