13.19% of the forced disappearances recorded by the CVR were perpetrated against persons under eighteen years of age, occurrences concentrated in Ayacucho (56.4% of the total), with the provinces of La Mar, Huanta, Huamanga, and Cangallo showing the highest intensity. Children under eighteen accounted for 12% of the total number of people killed during the period of armed conflict. Of these, 42.2% were executions carried out by state agents.
