Analysis of the Chapter 'Explaining the Internal Armed Conflict' in the Final Report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission
Nine years after the conclusion of the work of the Comisión de la Verdad y Reconciliación (CVR), the debate over its raison d'être persists, but above all over its work. The best approach would be to tackle the final report in a direct and very concrete manner — analyzing it paragraph by paragraph — in order to once and for all dispel the claim that it has not been read, and to prove that the criticisms are not only well-founded but have nothing to do with a desire for impunity and everything to do with a yearning for truth.
