Former Head of the SIE Contributed to the Crimes of Yauri and El Santa

Army Colonel (ret.) Alberto Pinto, close friend of Fujimori and Montesinos, will be released following an acquittal by the supreme chamber presided over by Villa Stein. Between January and October 1992, the period during which Army Colonel (ret.) Alberto Pinto Cárdenas served as head of the Army Intelligence Service (SIE), whose agents formed part of the Colina Detachment, this group murdered 26 people. Pinto claims he knew nothing.
