Without Women's Truth, History Will Not Be Complete
The challenge of incorporating a gender perspective in the Comisión de la Verdad y Reconciliación. One of the most significant aspects of the CVR's report is the analysis of the differentiated impact of violence by gender, as well as a specific chapter on sexual violence against women. This made the CVR the first entity of its kind to systematically adopt a gender perspective in its work, thereby setting a precedent for future entities.
