Gonzalo Thought
Much is said about the so-called "Gonzalo thought" and little is known about it. In the process of the failed legal registration of their political movement, the Shining Path members publicly affirmed their adherence to "Gonzalo thought," without having made any clarification of what that thought would be. Since Gonzalo is the pseudonym of Abimael Guzmán, it would be the thought of Abimael Guzmán (AG). His followers claim to place this former philosophy professor as the "fourth sword" of Marxist thought in the world, immediately after Marx, Lenin, and Mao Tsé Tung. Is there any basis for this claim?
