Ombudsman Report No. 112: The Difficult Path of Reconciliation. Justice and Reparation for Victims of Violence
This Ombudsman's Report presents the results of the supervision of human rights violation cases being investigated by the justice administration system, and analyzes aspects related to reparation for victims of violence and the restitution of their violated rights. It likewise reports on complaints of alleged torture and cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment recently submitted to the Defensoría del Pueblo, which demonstrate that, regrettably, these practices are not a relic of the past but continue to occur in the present.
