More Than 50,000! Terrorism Warrants
According to police statistics, in Peru today there are more than 550,000 active arrest warrants issued by various branches of the Judiciary. This figure, as alarming as it is staggering, encompasses an infinite number of problems that turn the issue of wanted persons into a permanent threat to the individual freedom of citizens. The most recent cases brought to public attention are a prime example of this.
