Since the CVR Final Report came to light, and despite the majority support of the population for the Commission's work, the criticism has not let up: CONFIEP, former commanders-in-chief of the Armed Forces, the Association of General Officers and Admirals (ADOGEN), and even the far-right movement Tradición y Acción felt compelled to publish paid notices in certain newspapers setting out what they consider to be their truth. ideele managed to have a liberal intellectual like Mario Vargas Llosa respond to them in this fictional debate around the truth about our country.
