The Public Hearing in Apurimac and the Community Ombudspersons
On August 27 and 28, the public hearings of the Truth Commission were held in Apurímac. As had happened three months earlier in Huancavelica, on this occasion more than thirty representatives of the Community Ombudsman Offices (Defensorías Comunitarias) from the province of Aymaraes gathered to be present at this event.
