Departmental Report of the Collective Reparations Program (PRC) Ayacucho YEAR 2007

Ayacucho was the region most affected by the outbreak of the internal armed conflict in the country, whose consequences to date remain a pending agenda for the Peruvian state. At a political level, 2007 was a very turbulent year, marked by various types of mobilizations from different social sectors, not only in the department of Ayacucho but also at the national level. Ayacucho has always been under the watchful eye of the state, not only due to the political situation in the area but also because of the narco-terrorism problems that have arisen, which have been generating restrictions on fundamental freedoms as a result of the State of Emergency decree that has remained in force in the provinces of Huanta and La Mar.
