Cantoral Benavides v. Peru
Judgment of December 3, 2001 (Reparations and Costs). THE COURT DECIDES: unanimously, the amounts the State must pay for material damages and for expenses and costs to the persons implicated in this ruling, and likewise that the State must render null and void, through the avenues provided by domestic legislation, the conviction issued by the Supreme Court of Justice of Peru against Luis Alberto Cantoral Benavides and annul the judicial or administrative, criminal or police records that exist against him.
