Neira Alegría et al. v. Peru
The Court, by four votes to one, rejects the objections raised by the Government of Peru to the complaint submitted to the Commission regarding the events of June 18, 1986, concerning the disappearance of Víctor Neira Alegría, Edgar Zenteno Escobar, and William Zenteno Escobar, who were being held in detention as individuals under prosecution as alleged perpetrators of the crime of terrorism, at the San Juan Bautista prison facility, known as "El Frontón".
