What Happened to the Indalecio Pomatanta Case?
On April 2, 1995, an operational group of Navy personnel intervened in the town of San Alejandro in Ucayali, killing the minor Indalecio Pomatanta. After brutally beating him, they doused him with gasoline and set him on fire, leaving him in agony for four days with burns covering 65% of his body, as recorded in the corresponding autopsy report.
