Civil Society Requests the Right to Full Reparation for Human Rights Violations
One of the main mandates given to the Comisión de la Verdad y Reconciliación (CVR) — which presented its final report on August 28 — was to recommend proposals for reparation and dignification for those affected by human rights violations during two decades of internal violence. The Grupo de Trabajo sobre Reparaciones (GTR), a group of civil society organizations committed to the truth and justice process, considers it essential that the imperative of reparation be present in the public debate opened by the presentation of the CVR's Final Report.
