Forced Disappearance of Persons (1980–1996)

The report consists of six parts. The first part covers the background of the ombudsman's intervention, and the second covers the socio-legal background on the practice of enforced disappearance of persons. The third part presents the results of the systematization and analysis of cases reported to the Ministerio Público based on their similarities and differences. The fourth part includes a description and analysis of the Ministerio Público's investigation of complaints of enforced disappearance. The fifth part of the report includes testimonies from relatives of victims of enforced disappearance in order to illustrate the social and economic consequences they face today, and the sixth part presents the conclusions and recommendations of the investigation.
