Interview with political scientist David Scott Palmer, who wrote "Shining Path of Peru". He is a professor of Political Science at Boston University, has worked at the U.S. State Department, and was a colleague of Abimael Guzmán on the faculty of the Universidad de Huamanga in 1962, where they shared an office for a year and a half. For Guzmán, he represented the vanguard of North American imperialism.
