The Fujimori Dictatorship: Puppetry, Corruption and Human Rights Violations

The Fujimori government has one of its most critical points in the area of human rights, in addition to the lack of a rule of law. At the United Nations (UN) there are more than 5,000 complaints of disappearances still not investigated, from 1982 to the present. The relatives of these disappeared persons, mostly Andean and Amazonian populations, continue to demand truth and justice. In addition, thousands of people are unjustly imprisoned.
